Jade’s digital CV for yoga experience as a teaching professional.
I love teaching yoga.
I got my first teaching certification in 2015, and taught free public classes on my rooftop for 6 months before I started teaching for pay. I have been practicing since age 18, when I “accidentally” discovered yoga in a university course. I’m now trained in hatha vinyasa, which is the “style” I lean into mostly when teaching. My yoga is based on the principles of regulating the nervous system through intelligent movements & breath work. Expect unique sequences and interesting transitions that help create space in the bigger joint structures of the body and promote strength and stability - internally & externally. I am also trained in yin & restorative yoga - two styles that I view to be very different from one another. I enjoy offering a more feminine experience in these styles to nurture the soul as well as the body. Lately, my personal practiced is heavily influenced by Katonah Yoga, which is a style that I am also currently studying. In 2020, I logged the required hours to be a teacher trainer by Yoga Alliance International, and have successfully trained & certified over 15 new yoga teachers.
