Nourishment on Serifos Island in Greece | June 15-20, 2026
Yoga & Radical Rest
χαλάρωση (hal-ah-roh-see) is Greek for “relaxation”
Let me paint a picture for you: Imagine waking up in your cozy bed with soft sheets to the sounds of the sea & view of the Aegean. You mosey down to the yoga area for a morning practice led by yours truly with all the best of space-making, breath-focused flows. After returning from a few minutes of mindfulness, you throw on a luxurious flowy kaftan and make your way down for brunch: a spread fit only for Godesses. We eat, we chat, we share stories, and we bask in the sunshine. The day continues with naps in cozy corners, good books, great conversations, drips in private pools, beach hangs, and more yoga in the evening. You round out the day with a crisp glass of local wine over dinner & drift off to sleep listening to the sounds of nature. Rinse, repeat - 5 days.
About the Island
Tucked away in the western Cyclades, Serifos is a serene island haven where time slows down and nature takes center stage. With its unspoiled beaches, rugged hills, and charming whitewashed villages, Serifos offers a deeply authentic Greek island experience—far from the crowds and full of soul. Wander through the cobblestone alleys of Chora, perched dramatically on a hillside, and savor breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Spend your days relaxing on golden, secluded beaches like Psili Ammos or Agios Sostis, where crystal-clear waters and soft sand invite true rest and rejuvenation. Serifos is also a haven for slow living and quiet adventure. Explore ancient mining trails, enjoy fresh Mediterranean cuisine, and watch the sunset paint the sky from a peaceful hilltop.
Whether you're seeking stillness, inspiration, or a deeper connection to Greece’s natural beauty, Serifos is a retreat for the senses—raw, real, and unforgettable. If you’ve been feeling like you’re just wanting to get back into that feminine energy, this is the retreat for you.
Daily Movement & Meditation
At the heart of this retreat is the rhythm of twice-daily yoga, gently guiding you back to your body, your breath, and your inner knowing.
Morning sessions awaken you slowly with nourishing movement, breathwork, and gentle flow designed to ground and energize. You’ll stretch into the day with intention, opening space in both body and mind to receive rest, clarity, and presence.
Evening sessions invite deep surrender. Think candlelight, calming breath, and restorative postures held with support. These sessions are designed to soften the nervous system and prepare the body for profound, nourishing rest.
Throughout the week, you’ll be guided through meditations as well.
This is not a retreat to strive or “do,” but to soften, slow down, and remember how to simply be.

Greece Q&A
Is this a "yoga retreat"?
Yes. We will be practicing twice per day in a beautiful space with all necessary mats & props provided. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself and your intentions. The yoga for this retreat is geared to help you feel balanced, centered and nourished - so don’t expect the classes to be rigorous or too physically demanding. And of course, if you want to skip a class - you do you!
What are the accommodations like?
A haven for holistic, educational, health and wellness retreats, Perma Serifos offers a higher-octave environment that nurtures the human experience and fosters renewal and discovery. Created for authentic, exclusive experiences, Perma Serifos is a unique sanctuary, destined for the selected few who seek raw perfection in an unforgettable setting.
Perched on a quiet glen on the island of Serifos, 2 hours away from Athens, PERMA SERIFOS echoes minimal, monosyllabic architecture that eases the eye and becomes one with the landscape. Developed by psychologist Martin Seligman, the PERMA model is a framework that promotes well-being and personal fulfilment through five key elements, each one contributing to a more balanced, satisfying, and meaningful life:
Positive Emotions (P): Fostering joy and gratitude for happiness.
Engagement (E): Immersing fully in activities, achieving ’’flow’’.
Relationships (R): Building supportive connections.
Meaning (M): Finding purpose and belonging.
Achievement (A): Pursuing goals and pride in accomplishment.
The property is comprised of suites, 1 bedroom houses and a 2 bedroom house. I have designed the room organization to support rooms for couples or friends looking to share, or single rooms for those seeking privacy.
Do I need to attend all of the included group activities?
Not at all! I have curated a trip that has a nice balance of free time and group activities. As your travel leader, I've also done a fair amount of working to scope out the area and find experiences that are both culturally connected and fun. If for any reason you decide that you'd like to opt out of a group activity, you are absolutely welcome to take some "me time".
What is the food like?
Breakfasts are usually a combination of fresh yogurt, fruit, honey and granola. In addition, you can find a variety of pastries - sweet and savory - deli meats & cheeses, and some kinds of egg option. Tea, coffee & orange juice are available every morning. For other meals, expect a Mediterranean diet with an emphasis on traditional Greek food. Think: olives, pita bread, special dips & spreads like tzatziki & eggplant dip, olive oil & a variety of shared meat & veggie dishes composed of ingredients local to the region. Save room for dessert - Greek baklava is the best in the world!
Will there be alcohol?
Wine is available at no extra cost during our wine tasting & boat experience. You are free to drink when you want. Alcoholic beverages are not included in any of the meals, but you are free to order what you want and pay a la carte!
Is the water safe to drink?
In Athens, yes. On the islands, its best to drink bottled water.
Will there be wifi?
Yes, wifi is available, but for this particular retreat, I’d like to offer the recommendation to keep it turned off except for times when YOU decide to check in with the outside world.
Are there any rules?
There is only one rule: have a great vacation. Take rest & "alone time" when you need it. Enjoy getting to know some new & interesting people. Enjoy yourself!
