Bella Vita
Mangia bene, ridi spesso, ama molto is Italian for “Eat well, laugh often, love much”.
There's something that happens when you step off the train in Rome, when the warm breeze first touches your face in Positano, when you raise your glass at sunset and realize you've been holding your breath for months without knowing it. This isn't just another trip to Italy – this is your invitation to breathe again, to taste again, to feel the earth beneath your feet and remember what it means to be fully, gloriously alive.
The Bella Vita retreat is designed for the lady who knows that life is too precious for rushed itineraries and tourist traps. Over eight transformative days, we'll move through Italy like poetry in motion – from the ancient cobblestones of Rome where gladiators once walked, to the sun-drenched cliffs of Positano where you will NOT be shamed for getting a killer photo of yourself in some cute piazza with an Aperol Spritz. This is sophisticated travel that honors both your great taste and your human need for fun & joy.
Where we’re going
Beginning in eternal Rome, we'll settle into our carefully chosen boutique sanctuary before diving into the city's living history. You'll walk through Trastevere's winding streets where locals still hang laundry from medieval windows, taste the real Roman cuisine at hidden trattorias that have been feeding families for generations, and yes – you'll sing your heart out on the legendary Rome Party Tram because sometimes the most sophisticated thing you can do is let your guard down completely.
Our journey then takes us south to Naples, for, well - pizza. Here, in the shadow of Vesuvius, we'll explore the mysterious underground city and make pilgrimage to the its birthplace. But it's when we reach the Amalfi Coast that something shifts – the landscape becomes a living postcard, and you can finally begin to slow down. The crown jewel of our retreat is our full-day sailing adventure from Positano to Capri. Picture this: you're aboard a sailboat, the sparkly blue sea stretching endlessly before you, stopping at hidden coves where the water is so clear it seems like liquid sapphire. You'll float in the Blue Grotto, sip prosecco on deck as the sun paints the cliffs gold, and understand why this coastline has inspired poets for centuries. This isn't just sightseeing – this is soul-seeing.
Our final day in Positano is yours to craft – sleep late on your terrace, practice yoga on the beach, or simply exist in the gentle rhythm of this vertical paradise. Because sometimes the most profound travel moments happen not when you're rushing to the next destination, but when you're still enough to let the place work its magic on you.
This retreat is curated for the type of woman who values authentic experiences and Instagram moments, who knows that the best meals happen at tables where locals gather, and who understands that luxury isn't necessarily about thread count – it's about the quality of your experiences and the depth of your connections. With a thoughtfully planned budget & itinerary, I’ve struck that perfect balance between comfort and authenticity, ensuring you'll return home with stories that matter and a heart full of la dolce vita.
Come as you are – curious, deserving, ready to be surprised by your own capacity for joy. Leave as you were meant to be – refreshed, inspired, and carrying a piece of Italy's timeless magic in your soul. Because life is too short for anything less than beautiful, and you, dear traveler, deserve nothing less than extraordinary.
Andiamo! Let's write this chapter of your story together.
Daily Movement & Meditation
Wake up the right way. I will lead you through a full bodied practice designed to connect your body & mind and set the tone for whatever comes next. Look forward to standing sequences, opportunities to develop deeper backbends and stronger inversions, as well as plenty of groovy transitions to stretch and open parts of the body that need that extra love. Wanna sleep in or go out for a nightcap instead? No shame - you do you!

Italy Q&A
Is this a "yoga retreat"?
It is if you want it to be. I'm a yoga teacher, and I'll offer classes during the week, all of which are absolutely optional. My classes are designed to accommodate all levels of yoga practice, so whether you're brand new to yoga, "yoga-curious", or a daily practitioner, you'll be able to attend and hopefully enjoy class. If you do plan to do any yoga on the trip, you will need to bring your own yoga mat.
What are the accommodations like?
I always try to choose boutique 3.5-4 star hotels that combine comfort with aesthetic. I look for things like comfy beds, nice bathrooms, and decent locations so we can walk to as many things as possible. Keep in mind that European hotel rooms are much smaller than American hotel rooms, and often do not have the same AC amenities as you might usually be used to. That being said, it’s my priority to find accommodations that are stylish, comfortable and reputable, while still being “off the beaten path”. Because nobody likes to be labeled a tourist.
Do I need to attend all of the included group activities?
Not at all! I have curated a trip that has a nice balance of free time and group activities. As your travel leader, I've also done a fair amount of working to scope out the area and find experiences that are both culturally connected and fun. If for any reason you decide that you'd like to opt out of a group activity, you are absolutely welcome to take some "me time".
What does a typical day look like on the trip?
Every day is different! You’ll receive both a printed and PDF version of the trip itinerary before the trip starts, so you can know in advance what each day entails. Some of the meals are included due to activities, and the first and last dinners are always included. On nights when dinner isn’t included, I’ll have a restaurant recommendation & reservation for anyone who wants to attend. During free time, you should feel free to do what you want - it’s your vacation!
What is the food like?
Breakfasts are usually continental - so think eggs, pastries, yogurt, fruit & juices. This is not the retreat for people on a strict gluten free diet. Italy is a pasta & bread-heavy country and we will definitely be eating pizza, pasta, AND breadsticks. So, even though you will do a ton of walking & hopefully a lot of yoga on the trip, you should just plan to go home with a couple of extra pounds because we will also be eating a ton of pizza & gelato.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes. And you should honor your body when it comes to drinking. If you feel like you want to, go for it! If you feel like you don’t - mocktails await!
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes, and if you like bougie water - bottled water is cheap and easy to fimd.
Will there be wifi?
Yes, wifi is available at all accommodations.
Are there any rules?
There is only one rule: have a great vacation. Take rest & "alone time" when you need it. Enjoy getting to know some new & interesting people. Enjoy yourself!
